Legends of Pumpkinhead can be found throughout many rural regions of the United States. It is said that the creature appears only when someone summons it, seeking revenge for a terrible wrong. From the darkness emerges a towering figure with a glowing pumpkin in place of its head, and the hunt begins.

Pumpkinhead knows nothing of justice. Once summoned, it lives only to kill. It patiently stalks its prey, feeding on fear and despair, and nothing can stop it until the hunt is over.

Role in The Black Bestiary
Pumpkinhead excels in decks built around the Hollowed mechanic. By sacrificing itself, it can return a more powerful Corpse to the battlefield, one better suited to the current situation on the battlefield.
