Efreets are powerful fire spirits originating from the mythology of the Middle East. According to ancient legends, they are among the most dangerous of the jinn—beings created from smokeless fire long before the appearance of mankind. They are described as proud, vengeful, and immensely powerful entities, capable of both granting wishes and bringing terrible curses.

In many tales, an encounter with an Efreet did not end in death. Its victims returned home alive, but exhausted and devoid of strength, as though a part of their soul had been burned away by a supernatural flame. It was believed that anyone touched by an Efreet's fire would be unable to fight, work, or even pray for many days.

Efreet is a control card capable of disabling your opponent's most dangerous Beings. By placing the Exhausted Condition, it prevents them from using their abilities and effectively slows down strategies that rely on powerful effects.
