Dryad
In Greek mythology, Dryads were tree spirits so deeply bound to the forest that the fate of a tree and its guardian were one and the same. When a tree withered or was cut down, its Dryad perished as well.

Travelers told, however, that not all Dryads shunned mankind. Some were said to appear to lost wanderers, guiding them through dense woods and rescuing them from traps laid by wild beasts or malevolent spirits.

According to ancient tales, every Dryad knows the names of all the trees in her forest and can hear their whispers. When a new tree is born, so too is a new guardian, and when the last leaf falls from a dead trunk, its spirit departs as well.

Role in The Black Bestiary
Dryad is a versatile support card that allows you to remove the Bound Condition from any Being. She excels in decks built around powerful cards that must retain their ability to attack.
